For our clients, we have developed a special application called SocialFeed Pro, which connects corporate Instagram accounts with their websites. Thanks to it, the same photos as on the company's Instagram feed will be displayed on the website. The application saves website administrators time, makes it easier for them to work with content, and also allows them to download and share individual posts.
And how to proceed?
- Log in to the selected Instagram account and switch it to professional mode: through "settings" go to "Account type and tools" and switch to a professional account according to Instagram's instructions.
- Log in to the selected Facebook profile: create a Facebook page, through the given profile in the menu on the left, click on "Pages" at the bottom and follow the instructions. You will then synchronize this page with Meta Business Manager or Meta Business Suite.
- Synchronize your Facebook and Instagram profile: proceed through the "profile settings", "permissions" and "connected accounts" or you can use the procedure via the "Meta Account Center". * (You can also link your profiles on the Meta Business page, where you can find the option to link your profiles in the top menu of the account edit).
- Log in to Meta Business Manager or Meta Business Suite using your Instagram profile. In Meta Business Manager, go to the “Content” link from the side menu, where you can see the same images in your posts as you have in your Instagram feed.
- Open our SocialFeed Pro application.
- Log in using the same Facebook profile you worked with in the previous steps. Click on “Edit previous setting” to give access to the given Instagram account and save. The application will automatically fill in the bearer token that Facebook will share with SocialFeed Pro.
- Using the same Instagram account you worked with in the previous steps, go to the “settings” of the profile, click on the displayed “Meta Account Center” and select the same profile you are on now. From the URL address, copy the necessary numeric Instagram ID, which you enter into SocialFeed Pro. * (the need to physically copy the ID of the zurl address is the result of a mistake by Facebook and Meta themselves, as they do not support a direct way to load Instagram accounts).
- Click on "connect" and you're done in SocialFeed. Now the setting method differs depending on your content management system.
- JARVIS: In the administration of your website, create a new "Module" with the parameter "Instagram Feed". You work with this module in the same way as with others, but in the "Configuration" of the module you need to fill in the bearer token and the Instagram account ID that you have already prepared in the previous steps in SocialFeed. In the "Configuration" you also set a limit for the number of photos that will be displayed on the website.
- WORDPRESS: The connection requires a predefined template that is implemented by the developer. You can then find it in your website administration settings under SocialFeed. You need to set a username (optional), Facebook bearer token and Instagram ID. You can set the cache as you wish, according to your preferences.
- Now you have connected your website to Instagram!
This connectivity and communication between social networks and the web presentation shows potential clients a certain professionalism or prestige of the company, which means that the application can, with some exaggeration, make it a marketing necessity. 😁
